Yes, going to Rachel to observe RF is like hurry up and wait. Several hours of waiting on the summit, as you know, equates to maybe 10-15 seconds, if that, of
recognizing something is coming through, and whipping up the camera to get a decent shot.

Many of the summit pics are either out of focus or out of frame, but a hell of an adrenelen rush for a photographer.

Sometimes, I had just a vague idea of what flew through the pass. One of these days I may just go up there and watch and leave my camera in the RV. Well...
maybe not :)

I may try video next time for a change of pace?
