It was interesting and sucked me in by mostly starting off as a lazar puff piece. The two thoughts that struck me was:
1. It made me think of when Vanunu, an Israeli scientist, provided photos of the Israeli nuclear program to the British press. If Lazar was really bend on "exposing" this, why did he not take photos, even of himself just anywhere establishing that he was there. I know his supporters would say "there is no way you could get a camera there" but who thought you could get a camera in one of Israel's most top secret places
2. If his acedmic history was erased, why hasnt Lazr produced fellow students, advisors, etc. If my academic history was erased I think minmimally I could show photos, copy of report cards, witnesses. Even my advisor would say, ya I knew that schmuk (but of course they MUST have been threatened).
