Comm gear was my first thought, too. But as this enhanced close-up shows, there are no antennas on the tower. What looks like an antenna (on the right, below the red light) is in fact a lightning protector. Similar to the one by the backgate, shown about halfway down in the attached link.
And you can see the control cables from the camera mount go into the box below it. So, that one is not an antenna either, but the electronics control for the remote controlled camera mount.
