On two recent visits to Tikaboo Peak I visually confirmed that most of the large fuel tanks at the south end of the base are gone. Only a couple of tanks are left. Photos will follow soon.
Any ideas what happened to the tanks? Would it make sense to bury them? Why? To protect them from the heat? Does that mean they are storing more volatile fuel there now, that needs more protection? Let me hear what you all think, feel free to speculate....
