You are correct Joerg........FAA frequencies must be in the clear. Thats why the missions are handed off to Tactical frequencies and controllers. And most of those are either scrambled or in obscure areas of the frequency bands. In the old days all of the mission aircraft would use the same callsign, and it made it very difficult to tell what type of craft it was. Now they change so much its so obvious which ones are the mission aircraft. Anybody remember YANKEE....or REBEL?
