I have seen several times where people are complaining that the government should just tell us what they are doing at these secret installations. Well, while not all projects can be revealed for obvious reasons, you can find what projects the US military is interested in and working on by visiting the The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) at www.darpa.mil This is the agency that runs these projects.
