There is a strange bit of protrusion from the NE wall of the new hangar. Perhaps exhaust from something? Could easily be a number of other things, too, I presume.

What if it's a wind tunnel? If that was the case, they might want a wall to prevent exhaust or suction from the tunnel from messing with runway traffic. At least according to NASA AIMS (Moffet Field in Mountainview, CA) when I visited a while back, every aircraft that flies in the US must make it through one of the wind tunnels at the AIMS base (in real form or aerodynamic model). Perhaps they got tired of testing very classified designs at a mostly declassified facility?
