There is somewhat unreliable analog coverage on Tikaboo. I was able to place a call with my Ericsson (carrier Cellular One) in analog, but a few minutes later I was not able to place another call.
Digital-only phones won't work up there.
I wonder if the base cell phone system interferes with civilian cell phones. I often get a weak analog signal around here, but when I dial I get "system busy". Any thoughts?
