From an entertainment point of view, that is a good place to camp. There is a good chance of a nightly visit by the cammos, shining their lights into your camp site.

I prefer camp sites further back, though, near the highway. You have a much better view of the Groom airspace. My favorite camp site in the valley is the Gravel Area, around mile marker 32. Not very stealthy, but best view of the Groom airspace dur to elevation and ridge line of the Jumbled Hills. The Black Mailbox is ok, too, but lower elevation. And White Sides partially obstructs view of the Groom airspace.
