Feel if the accused does go to trial

1. there will be a sense of relief and closure
for the group, and justice will be meted
appropriately.

2. anticipate that this sad event will quicken
the pace for better community/site management
communications, and, i would expect, may even now
be investigating the possibility of selecting
a group of individuals who have been longing for
a chance to visit on the site. (i'd bet they are
doing background checks on select individuals,
right now....)

you'd be on my list Mr. Magoo as a trustworthy
individual. 1200 miles? nothing, to sweat, if
you get an invite, they'd no doubt, pay the freight.
