Thanks. It appears to have indeed been a local cox
problem. I'm always amazed. The internet was supposed
to have been built with all that redundancy and be
able to withstand nuclear attack. Yet it rains a 100th
of an inch or the temp climbs to 100 and the connection
goes down for days.

The saying around here is, "cox sucks".

I'm back up to speed today.
