Here is a complete list of changes at Area 51 between our photos on June 10, 2007, and our Panorama taken on August 7, 2005. As you can see, they have been pretty busy for a closed base... ;-)

We will post a new page with photos of all the changes shortly.

- New Building at the Explosives Storage Area (not previously reported)

- New large hangar east of the Vehicle Maintenance Building (not previously reported)

- View screen for the northern extension of Hangar 19 has been completed. The view screen can also be seen on the side facing away from Tikaboo, so it is not only meant to block the view from Tikaboo. (first confirmed January 17, 2006)

- Long row of white objects east of hangars 22-23, between the hangars and the southern taxi way (not previously reported)

- New building SW of Hangar 8 (not previously reported)

- New building south of Hangar 18, possibly an extension of the P.E. building (not previously reported)

- New tower structure near the RCS range (first confirmed January 17, 2006)

- Small new remote site with a couple of buildings and several antenna poles west of new tower (first confirmed August 26, 2006)
