To stop any new rumors right here: It is very unlikely that this is a road sensor. Way too obvious and vulnerable to tampering. The road leads past it on the side, not through the signal path.

I am sure there are road sensors, similar to the ones we found in Tikaboo valley, on the last part of the road to the trail head. But this unit is not one of them.

It was set up roughly in the last 6-8 weeks.
