Good point. The fence does not even look strong enough to keep the cows out. On the other hand, they went through great length to bury something. Obviously it is very important to keep the two sites separate. To the point where they have a 20 yard directional radio link instead of a data cable.

Since you mentioned the disk alignment: It is marked in the back in handwriting:
AZ = 159.7
EL = 46.5
SK = 95.3
PA = 2

The first two numbers indicate azimuth and elevation of the satellite. The setup is located roughly at N37 14.2' / W115 12.9'. With this, it should be possible to figure out which satellite it links to. Perhaps someone with some time to spare can do the math...?
