Intriguing story- I also went to Area 51/Rachel that Labor Day weekend in 1999, though only the day of September 5. I guess we just missed meeting each other at the Research Center- I was there at about 3:00 buying the Viewer's Guide and a poster (weird how I remember these things so closely). Nice sighting... I hope I'll be able to have one as well if I go again this summer.
