Yes, the rooms at the Inn all have swamp coolers, which work similar to A/C.
The best place to meet other skywatchers is the Inn in Rachel, or the Black Mailbox, about 20 miles south or Rachel on Hwy 375. Or this forum, of course. Feel free to post the dates for your trip here. Enjoy your visit...
