Thankyou for your comments,I have noted that there appears to be stated in a public documents on NTS that there was to be further land withdrawl.While this is not connected with recent events.GOV may well have been thinking along these lines already & recent events may only speed that up.But like you say a properly marked boarder would be in their interests.
