I'm planning to go sometime in early April, probably Easter weekend April 6-8. I plan to leave a Vegas-area hotel around 1am and hike (or at least arrive near the trailhead) pre-dawn, or maybe arrive the previous evening before dark. I got triple-Pave-Hawked near the cattle fence in December, a bit unnerving even in daylight, due to being there solo and not having told anyone when/where I was going. I am also considering a daytime traverse from Tikaboo toward 375 @ Hancock Summit and back, if conditions are good and I feel up to it. In any case, a little "safety in numbers" with another vehicle or two would be great.
