The outer markers I've monitored have two letter IDs. Of course, Groom Lake can do whatever they want.

My understanding of the HF outer markers is they are used to guide you to the marker from a direction that doesn't correspond to the localizer. That is, you use the outer marker to pick up the localizer. It should line up with the localizer beam.

The remaining markers would be 75Mhz since at that point you are lined up with the localizer. That is, you don't need to navigate to the middle marker since you are already lined up. Rather, all you need to know is when you fly over it.
