I haven’t seen real early practices but I have seen a couple of them come back from Indian Springs (Creech now I guess) declaring In Flight Emergencies. Seems that they clipped wing tips during one of their maneuvers. As I remember it one of them put the other at attention and spent a few minutes explaining to him what he had done wrong. BTW they are assessed penalty points and are “fined” when they screw something up during a show (ground crew and air crew). The fines going to the bar that they have in their hangar.
