I hiked to the top of Tikaboo Peak in March 1993. The snow was all the way down to the bottom of Badger Valley, so I parked there and hiked up the valley maybe halfway to what is now the trailhead. Then I climbed the ridge and worked my way to the top in waist-deep powder snow. I took some pictures of the base and struggled back down again. The next day i climbed Whitesides and had a much better view.

This was long before anyone thought to climb Tikaboo to observe the base. Whitesides was the only known viewpoint at the time. Freedom Ridge had yet to be discovered.
