There has been a lot of news coverage on a device that is able to "bend" micro-waves around an object which renders the object invisible to radar. The working model is small and could be used to protect a heart pace-maker.
Change subject question: Could the tower be used in laser weapons test by aircraft? My old company in Redondo Beach has been working on lasers as weapons since the late sixties and now has a small contract to mount them in aircraft for testing. Too far fetched?
