Not much goes on at the expo itself. The BEST times to go to Van Nuys are the Thurs and Friday prior, to see the arriving warbirds, and then the Monday after, to see them depart......usually there is no flying on the Sat-Sun events, THANKS to the WHINERS living next to the airport who complain about the noise - about an event that takes 2 days out of the year......worth going in any case.
