If you want to stay out of the dirt I agree with Lonewolf. The road to Cedar Gate is paved and their is a lot of places to pull off. The old ranch has some trees and runs next to the road. You will be pretty in a desolate area there. I just got back and Weapons School was having some exercises going on, some in the day and their were some at night.Cedar Gate and Railroad Valley can be a good place to be. Especially if the are doing bombing runs. Their is a Sam Site not far from there and if they are shooting, it gets pretty exciting. I also like the lakes south of Alamo but no action there. They have some campsites where you can take a coach towing a car. Most of them are pull thru. Some have bbqs and picnic tables and the sites are right on the lake.
Hope this helps if you need more info please post or send me a private email. bljk8@cox.net
