I was in the same predicament.. I do not pln on hiking up tikaboo in the next ... 10 years. i recommend the rs pro-2004, 2005 and 2006. I just picked up a 2005 on ebay for 65.00 works perfectly. He didnt know what he had, made him an offer and he accepted. If you look on ebay DAILY... you can find the 2004, 2005, 2006, the pro 26, 43 and 60 for cheap. The reason i say daily.. all of these are mil-air...but most are cellular modifiable. The fcc looks at ebay every few days for people advertising the cell mods and forces ebay to take them off. I have seen people advertise the same scanner 3-4 times. IF YOU SEE ONE CHEAP MAKE THE GUY A REASONABLE OFFER. 3 OF MY 5 2005, 2004 AND 2006 SCANNERS WERE LESS THAN 90.00 WITH OFFERS. If you plan on hiking hiking tikaboo, go for the 26, 43 60. the mvt-7100 is a bitch.. didnt like it.
