I have a few scanners, but I use a Pro-96 as well. [Used at $275 with a big nick in the plastic;-)] The mil air has to be enabled with starsoft Win96. I'm not aware that scancat can do this. The restored mil air is not all that sensitive (about 2.5uV). Plenty good for use in the ranges, but I don't know how well it would work for listening from Henderson. I still think though old Radio Shack mobiles [Pro-2035, Pro-2042, Pro-2045, Pro-2052] are the way to go if you plan on listening from a car or house AND don't mind programming a radio by hand. You can get one for well under $100 used.

The Pro-96 will scan the Nellis trunk system and can handle multi-site trunk systems with some tricks. [The Mellis trunk system is really the Nevada Test Site trunk system, though Nellis is not on all of their sites.]
