The NASA ER2 flights show up as round robbins at EDW on flightaware.com. Look for NASA809, NASA807, NASA806. The most recent flight I see listed departed 22:03GMT on 7/19, and landed 01:03GMT on 7.20. That would be 3:03PM to 6:03PM on the 19th, local time. However, it doesn't look like it flew over LA. Can you pin down the time you saw it?
