Agreement here. There are an incredible number of variables involved in a device like that- they haven't tested a missile of the same range before... no reason to believe that it was anything but just plain failure. See also: every single U.S. weapons and defense program's testing phase. The real question is, where's the wreckage, and who retrieved it first.
