Am i right in saying a blimp would be mostly metal frames and some kind of fabric like covering? Well if it is like that (i dont know a thing about airships) then couldnt you just take it down with ease, and store it anywhere? Its the same sort of thing with a tent (strange example i know), you put it up, its big, you take it down, you can fit it in the back of your car.
