No, you are giving chemtrail believers too much credit. They are people who get scared of contrails, and are characterized by collosal ignorance about aviation, aircraft, and basic science.

They also tend to fall for other conspiracies, like that no one ever landed on the moon, that no airliners were involved on 9/11, etc.
