This morning 2 0630 I heard an odd high pitched sound winding down and then again winding up over the Oquirrh Mountains in Salt Lake County. It was definitely in the air and not a reflected sound. The sound traveled from north to south. No visible contrail or aircraft of any type seen in the air. Anyone have any ideas?
