That spot is aligned with the old Rwy 32. But take a look at the road leading SSE, around the hills and back NNW to a cleared spot. That spot, 37 deg 09' 50.17"N 115 deg 45' 35.35", is aligned with the new Rwy 32. By now it may be the site of a new outer marker. Also, it's a little farther out, 4.0 miles. The OM you mentioned seemed a little close.
