They said Area 16, which would be more like
N37 02 42.8, W116 11 39.0
Remember, they can't stir up any radioactive soil, so the big blast needs to be away from nuke test sites.

The dirt at your coordinates could be offhaul from
37° 2'37.76"N 116° 1'19.55"W

When they built the Keno airstrip, the soil to build it came from quite some distance. I watched the scrapers come from beyond the gate to the south of the ranch house. You can see scraping on a nearby mountain.
