Frankly with all the Chinese here on "student" -"tourist" and "work" visas I don't think there's much that they haven't attempted to steal, eh, "borrow to copy."

What I do KNOW is that alternative resolutions ARE being discussed and those options are NOT in any means passive.

SOME of those options under CONSIDERATION are:

1. FREEZE Chinese Assets in United States financial
institutions.

2. REMOVE China from "Favored Nation" status.

3. SANCTIONS against TRADE. They export $100 Billion
We export $16 Billion
WHAT are we really losing here ???

4. Apply Pressure to REMOVE China from any hopes of
the Olympics as an Oppressor Nation
undeserving of such honor.

5. TIGHTEN Immigration/Visitation


a. CANCEL Student Visas
Absolutely CANCEL Foreign Student Aid

b. CANCEL Tourist Visas.

c. DEPORT Chinese on "Work" permits.
This is a PRIVILEDGE reserved for
peoples from friendly nations.

5. INFLUENCE our allies such as CANADA to agree to
assist us by applying appropriate
SANCTIONS as pressure to release the crew
and setup a neutral committe to arbitrate
perhaps under the auspice of the UN

6. DEPLOY sufficient SPECIALIZED troops
and institute a "2nd Boxer Rebellion"
Scenario. (US Recon Marines and
England's Royal Marines invited to the
party.)

WE'd be Glad to Kick their Asses Again!

Now, while several of these options are SEVERE,
the ONLY reason they are NOT now in play and only under DISCUSSION is because of the far-reaching consequences that these or a combination of these
actions would cause.

Perhaps WE ALL COULD SHOW OUR MUTUAL DISPLEASURE
BY BOYCOTTING CHINESE GOODS AND SERVICES.
That is, don't buy anything made in China and sold in the USA nor even EAT at that Chinese Restaurant or
even have your laundry done at that Chinese Laundry etc etc etc. Also Financial institutions can IMMEDIATELY call the Foreign Student Loans for CHINESE students studying in American schools at OUR expense, and SEND THEM HOME...etc, etc, etc.

The message would get to the appropriate politicians in China in a hurry WITHOUT firing a shot or missle!

By the way: before you ask: YES, we ARE preparing to cover ALL our options INCLUDING.
