The cops asking where you work or what you do may be some psyop kind of question that the feds dreamed up. I got the same treatment a few days ago when parked on a mountain doing some scanning. [The FBI had a plane flying at the time, though I don't know if that had anything to do with it.] The magmount on the roof and running a laptop computer in the middle of nowhere certainly arouses the suspicion of the PD. Now that the TSA is not looking for sharp stuff, they supposedly are going to play verbal judo with the passengers. Probably where do you work or what do you do is part of the lexicon. I think the cops have the same guidebook.
