Station 700, or Gate 700 as it is often called, is the gate between Area 51 and the Nevada Test Site. Many trucks and some contractors from the Las Vegas side enter the base via Gate 700, after checking into the Mercury Gate (near Hwy 95) and driving up the Mercury Highway and past Sedan Crater. Unfortunately the coverage of Gate 700 in Google Earth is not (yet) very good. It is located between two sections with better coverage in the east and west.
