Speaking of being pulled for explosives testing, I did a lot of travelling shortly after 9/11 and noticed that if I took my green bag it was never tested but if I took the nearly identical black one it was tested about every third flight. Hmm. Also if my wife travelled (tall blue-eyed blonde of Scandinavian descent) she was almost always chosen for random testing -- whether the testers were male of female! I wonder if this was intentional for political correctness purposes?
