Know this is late, but I'm just catching up. Dang - I lived in Goodyear for 9 years before moving back to the northeast. So far as I ever knew the only military-related assets there were Lockheed and Luke AFB (which obviously has it own field). I would bet my bottom dollar it was a visit to Lockheed-Martin. I do know they do a good deal of advanced ground imaging radar.
