The Radio Shack Pro 97 will be on sale for $149 from 10/27 - 11/23 here is the freq. range for the Pro 97
25-54 108-137 216-225 406-512 806-960 1240-1300 MHZ
There is 1 priority channel only
The Radio Shack Pro 96 will be on sale for $399 from 10/27 till -11/23 Both are hand held scanners
Only trouble with the Pro 97 is it will not work when the new re banding is done this is from customer service at Radio Shack last month. The Pro 96 will work after the re banding is done they stated.
