You can drive up to #13 in our Tikaboo Valley Map (see maps section). There is a good camp site about 200 yards before you get to the gates on the right. You should be able to get there with a camper.

Personally I prefer to camp a bit further away, near the Hwy. At the GL Rd entrance your view of the Groom air space is limited by the hills in the area. From the Highway you have a much better view of the airspace over Groom.
