Considering we paid $2billion each for the first set of B2's, I'd say $700million is a bargain, if it is real. It makes sense to increase the fleet simply because if the stuff hits the fan, we would most likely lose a few. If you are right about only have 10 operational (for quick deployment), then even one plane lost is a 10% hit, which sound unacceptable.

Do you think Northrop would take some B1Bs in trade? ;-)
