I have recently returned from a tour as a contractor in Iraq. I was stationed at Balad AB, 40 miles north of Baghdad. I am a black plane fan and long time reader of this list. I saw 2 interesting planes flying daily and thought you guys would be interested. The first as near as I can figure from research is the Hunter. It's an Army UAV. I saw it fly daily, but did not know what it was. I checked the net and found the picture of it. I am sure this is the one I saw, but the data available seems to say its out of production since the 90's?? Another interesting note was the Army's use of the C-23 Sherpa. They are using it extensively for cargo and hauling people around. It flies at about 100 feet off the deck. Photos can be found at the link.
The second is the RC-12. It's a King Air. Flown by the Army with tons of antennas, used for intel gathering. These 2 were in addition to the Predator, which I saw a lot, but only once with the Hellfires on board.
