I don't recall there being bursts or tones on that frequency...I did get a lot of that, but I had almost 500 frequencies programmed in based on a bunch of pre trip research and didn't want to miss something. After day one I used the scanlog spreadsheet on the laptop that was logging to help me pick the good actives. I heard "Baja" many times, and it seemed like a controller, probably an AWACS? But it was on a different channel than 266.0. I think I only heard that once...I have GOT to get the tape out hooked up for next time. I can log and record audio right to the hardrive.
