The NB-52B (serial no. 52-0008) has been retired and returned to the Air Force Flight Test Center. It is normally parked on the ramp north of Hangar 1623 (the one that is about the same size as Hangar 18 at Groom). We recently borrowed it back for a few days when NASA had a ceremony to award astronaut wings to three of the X-15 pilots. It is back at 1623 now, parked next to the NB-52H. Eventually the NB-52B will be placed on display by the Edwards North Gate.
