The one I recorded last on 8/19 was 8 miles to the east, about to intersect the arc. This distance would make sense if the plane was to stay within the Groom Lake "valley", i.e. not cross into the next mountain range.

While you would never get the published data on the Groom Lake approach/departure, it's funny the TTR doesn't have such data either. You can't even get the runway info on the FAA website for the TTR.

I'd have to review all the audio, but I believe it was either the 26th or the 28th when the new Groom Lake approach/departure using abbie and teddy fixes becomes permanent. Even though FIDOE was not mentioned in the readbacks, the Janet aircraft have filed as if they are still using FIDOE. I think the planes are exiting the range a bit further east on Passur.
