A bit off topic but somewhat relivant to the forum. Just finished sorting thru 1500 shots I took at the Airventure 2005 airshow in Oshkosh WI. The highlights were:
- A three ship B-17 plus a B-25 missing man formation along with a four ship P-51 missing man escort.
- A fly-by of a F-16, F-4 and P-51 led by the P-38 dug up from the ice, Glacier Girl.
- The Glacier Girls.
- Daily flybys and displays of warbirds including an imaculate F-86 Sabre.
I will send a trip report with a few shots. I know OT but a lot of A/C on display had operated in NV at one time. Many, such as the P-38, where Kelly Johnson designs.
