The Lockheed Martin X-35A (JSF)is in final preparation for its first flight, probably within the next few days, not six weeks. Taxi tests were performed over the last week and test "first flights" were performed both today and yesterday mornings using 2 F-16s and a F/A-18. Almost exactly as the Boeing candidate performed. The callsign for the X-35 is "HAT TRICK 01".
