I was watching the F-15's and A-10's (they were over from Germany) at RAF LAKENHEATH a couple of months ago. And was approached by 3 base security officers in civies. They were handing out leaflets and asking us to be their eyes as we would spot if a so called aircraft spotter was behaving different. They were polite and had a good chat with one of them about the U-2. No problem using cameras/ binoc's
Have a good public viewing area at Lakenheath.
