Universal Avionics' Terrain Avoidance Warning System (TAWS) is based on high-resolution digital elevation maps and covers 9,300 airports and approximately 16,000 runways worldwide. XTA (international designation KXTA) is located at Groom Lake, Nevada, and has paved runways 14-32 and 12-30.
