I can't seem to find Tom Mahood's directions to Brainwash Butte, but you can drive to within 10 or so miles east of the runway. There are a few view spots in those hills, with Brainwash Butte being the most famous.

If you have a Beverages and More in your town, you can get Brainwash Cola. It's a dark purple (nearly black) cola with quite a bite to it. I keep meaning to leave a few empty bottles on the hill for visitors, but never get around to it. I use a different location for viewing the TTR since Brainwash Butte doesn't have a good view of Site-4.
